Paintings by Melody Cleary, Oregon Artist - 20 x 24 work in progress

I have painted quite a few small landscape paintings in the last year and it feels good to go larger, apply color loosely, spray with water and rub it around with paper towels over texture and underlying colors....keep it abstract and play.  However, this does look like it will be another WATER PAINTING, doesn't it?  This old gallery canvas had different pieces of paper collaged onto it - there is one large vertical strip of embossed paper left of center - letting that show thru enhances the imagery, I think, and of course, the underlying colors.  Back to play time!
